It Starts With Me part 2
Like I said everyone has a story in order to heal from your past you must start where it all began, like for me it started at age 7. I started out keeping a journal but it was only keeping track of the things that kept me bound and connected to my depression. What is keeping you bound and connected to your situation?
Exercise:
Make 2 collages 1 of the things you like and 1 of the things you want on the back of them write a story explaining your collages.
Make a encouraging collage (one that you have to recite every morning) put it where you can see it everyday. I hung mine in my bathroom in my room.
Read your word everyday and remember to be around those who you have great support and encouragement from. (Start with Genesis to Revelation) I have my go to scriptures Isaiah 30, 31, Colossians 3:12 - 25
Sing out loud My song is Mary Mary "It's The God In Me" Yolanda Adams "Because Of Who You Are" and in prayer "Precious Lord"
Read my books "Stop You Are Hurting Me"!, "Stop Who Are You Really"! and "False Teachers and Prophets". I wrote these books as a self help christian books. visit my website https://www.fromthedeskofevangmrichardson.webnode.com

IT STARTS WITH ME!
I hear so many of my friends and family members saying they must change themselves for..... . Guess what whatever reason you are wanting to change yourself make darn sure it lines up with God. Let me tell you this I am the worst when it comes to changing for a man, family members, acceptance, and whatever feasted my fancy. Guess what it has left me feeling alone and seeking what's wrong with me. You can get so caught up in changing yourself to please the world the word calls you a lovers of pleasure. (2 Timothy 3:3 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God;) Don't get mad or change to the next blog without hearing this I DID ALSO! Did it make me a bad person? Sure it did cause I wasn't true to who I was. Here me! I blamed women more importantly black women for the way I was. Often times I was deemed to be not black because I did't act black? Whatever that meant. My favorite one "you think you are too cute!" Thought never ran through my mind this cycle started for me at age 7 all up to age 47. That's right 40 years, 40 long years. Wait hold on you got saved at 21 and started preaching at 30 how's that?
Did you hear me it started at the age of 7; so it was a habit for me; and yet I still struggle with it today. Let me help you out; everyone in some form of passion wants to fit in somewhere. The catch phrase get in where you fit in does that ring a bell for you? Often times it is the reality of others. When I bowled I could be myself the competitive selfish side. I flowed with awe and ease, but drank to forget the pain at home only to picture the pain and anger towards the pins. Huh. 7 years old trying to be someone I wasn't nice but with a cold hard side. So yes it is sad to say that many people who were around me didn't even know me for real for real. To me I am like a strand from a sweater being pulled, sensitive and yet stands firm hugging at the right moments but can be extremely playful. Ask my children.
Every since I turned 47 I was faced with you used to do.... . Then I questioned the person I saw in the mirror WHO ARE YOU? So I had a little activity that my children and I did. We did a collage of things we like and then one for the things we want. I found I am quite different from how people see me. Now there is a bigger question HOW? I will say this I noticed that even when we allow people to dictate who we are we hold on to one thing that we love. For me wearing dresses and skirts I believed that from the age of 5 my mother told me. What are you holding true to? Build on that it is a start, yes you will stumble like a baby learning to walk but so what. Take back you!
Let's back up for a minute here if you will. For me when I have tried to change for other people but found myself still being unaccepted by my peers and some family members. Not knowing who I can turn to if I needed to talk due to their gossiping about my situation and making it out to be more than what it really was. Then when I was questioned even if I tried to explain they knew better because what someone else said; yep then you are now a liar. How many times have you been called out your name because someone didn't like the way you present yourself, talk or even walk? How about being attacked because you are a different denomination? Has that ever happened to you? How about this one you go to a family gathering and everyone seemingly gives you the evil eye or the awkward silence treatment but fake like they are glad to see you? Well if you answered yes to any of those questions just know that it is not you it is on them. Yes what people say and possibly to you does hurt but know this please don't waddle in it.
How does it begin with you? Well you have a choice to stay true to who you are and not to conform to the people in your neighborhood (not the neighborhood as in where you live but whom you call your friends and family). Look it isn't easy finding out who YOU are really if you constantly trying to please man rather than the God in you. (Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all). To please everyone is is to please GOD! You can not please anyone like you can please yourself by pleasing God. You can't love without loving God. Being faithful to anyone without being faithful to God. What ever you do you can't do it without God. Hold on let me let James chapter 4:10 - 17 tell you why.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
This can often leave one with feeling alone and dismayed. How do you get back to feeling whole again? Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which is also in Christ Jesus: If you start with the basics and work yourself into finding out what else God's word says about you. Then you can forget what others are and have been saying or doing to you.

DOOR MAT OR CHRISTIAN?
During this time I as a child learned of one denomination well enough to disagree with it's followers and tactics. I looked for a Biblical standings for it but I found none. I told my family members my findings and shared it even with my friends and still to this day I stand on the WORD of GOD alone.
Now here it is 2014 and we are still not sure what side of the fence we CHRISTIANS want to be on. I have always felt that WE go to a Church, Synagogue or Temple and listen to a pastor/preacher tell us about how we should and should not conduct ourselves, but yet when we stop conforming to the world we make headline and even forced to apologize or even sued; for the comments we say about other denominations. When have other denominations had to apologize to the CHRISTIANS or even sued? How many times have we been approached by NON-CHRISTIANS and once they find out you are a CHRISTIAN they ridiculed you for not being open minded and change to their denomination. Even if we sing praises unto our God we are told to stop singing and when we come back with the word of God they walk off stumping their feet in a childish manner.
Here is what I feel we as Christians is get behind one another when they are right. I feel that the owner at Lucas Oil Stadium felt compelled to mention how they felt. How many of us felt the same way?
Same sex marriage why and is is Biblical and; yet what is the purpose? What does it mean for us who are married to the opposite sex? Is opposite sex Biblical and what is the purpose? Even those of us who do not believe in same sex marriage, if we are asked to marry them and refuse we will have to pay a fine because that would fall under discrimination act. Not to mention how some people feel that churches should not be tax exempt. Let me ask this question; what would happen to charities and other organizations that depend on donations? People do not think about the consequences of there I want or mad just to get even behavior, or who does it affects anyway?
What changes have you noticed that has effected the CHRISTIANS/JEWS alike?

Venting about Unstable People
He is quick to judge the man for doing what he is doing to his own family. Unstable in this aspect means you are selfish.
I do have a friend that does work but has a problem keeping it, and finds self looking for a place to stay as well as a new job with an old attitude. Grown children should not have to carry their parent/s as their burdens. When the only thought is on the mind job and a companion and then maybe a place of their own. Jump at the chance to stay with family or friends. What tbe heck, why does selfishness compel these people. (I am not talking about taking care of an elderly or sick parent, an able body).
I am a wife and a mother but I know selfishness to be a one side dish to lonely street. Selfish people are lazy and lackadaisical and are a willing aide in tearing down their own home with their own hands.
These are only two aspects of selfish unstable minded people I have put up with and allowed to abuse me and take advantage of me.
Tuesday vent day you know unstable people speak up and add if you like. Michele Richardson

Love Your Neighbor and Forgiveness
When my grandmother passed this past January, I flew in from Texas and stayed in the house I grew up in and slept in my old bed room. My uncle and aunt living there and a day later their daughter and son in-law came in from New York; they slept in my mother’s old room. For the first two days before the funeral we all were joking and having and conversations. I knew tempers would run wild and ramped the day of the funeral on Saturday January 19, 2014. Well after the funeral it became very apparent that I was an outsider. My cousin from New York did not hesitate to show her hatred toward Christians seeing that everyone else in the house were Jehovah Witnesses. Realizing that neither my aunt or her daughter displayed wisdom in front of their company and bashing Christianity. All the while my aunt talked about the Pastor using his phone and miss quoting scriptures. Both agreed that the funeral service was like that of “Happy Feet.”
I was quickly reminded of the 10 commandments that God (Jehovah) gave to Moses on the mount Ex. 20:7 – 17, but I would like to draw your attention to verses 13 – 17 it states:
13 Thou shall not kill. (Deut. 5:17)
14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
17 thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is thy neighbor’s. (Deut. 5:21; Prov.6:29)
Now turn with me to Psalms 15:1,3
1 LORD who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbor, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbor. (Ex. 23:3)
Even though I was offended by what they were saying against Christians the offense wasn’t against me but the very God we all serve (according to them). Although Matthew 22:37 – 40 states this:
37 Jesus said unto him, THOU SHALT LOVE THE LORD THY GOD WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THY SELF. (Lev. 19:18; Mark 12:31; Rom. 13:9)
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and prophets.
But still my friend 1 John have this to say:
1 John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? (1 John 2:4)
I know right now I am talking about loving my neighbor, but my question is this how can you love your neighbor and never forgiving them in your own heart? Every time I remind myself of this awful but learning experience, I forgive them. Forgiveness is not for them but for me. Alright turn to Psalm 130:4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Matthew 6:14,15 For if ye forgive men of their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
So how awesome is that to forgive so that you will be forgiven by our heavenly Father. (Yahweh) I am reminded of a song by Hezekiah Walker “You Pray For Me” the song goes on to say “I wont hurt you with the words from my mouth, I love you, I need you to survive.” Note this if you want to walk close to God you must walk agreeably with one another.
